Topping TP60 T-Amp Tripath TA2022 50WPC (80WPC 4 Ohm) Mini Amplifier
As the flagship of the Topping line of mini amplifiers, the TP60 is an exercise in no-holds barred design creating—quite possibly—the perfect amplifier for audiophiles. Flush with features, the Topping TP60 is built around the Tripath TA2022 which features DPP™ digital power processing and includes one dedicated toroidal transformer per channel for extremely stable rail voltages; making for an amplifier that lives up to its rated output without running out of gas.
Only the highest quality components were chosen to maintain signal fidelity from input to output, maintaining spaciousness and the critical midrange that most amplifiers don't seem to get right. Look inside and you'll find an Alps potentiometer, OMRON relays, ERO and CDE capacitors, Dale and Sanyo resistors, hand-wound inductors, gold-plated RCA input jacks and 5-way binding posts... no detail has been overlooked and loudspeaker protection is built-in to protect your investment.
One of the most amazing aspects of this amplifier is its size. Since this amplifier is up to 88% efficient, fans and extraordinarily large, space-consuming heatsinks are not required. What this means is that an amplifier that's only 11.375" long x 6.625" wide (faceplate is 7" wide and 3.375" H (including feet) can replace the huge amplifiers of yesteryear without sacrificing power.
Two sets of RCA inputs allows you to connect multiple sources that are switched via a front-mounted source select switch. Two sets of isolated 5-way binding posts offer banana, spade, speaker pin, and bare wire connectivity. A 5.5 foot IEC power cable with right-angle plug is included.
