Satin Premium 0.78mm 2-Pin connector TeCU/PEEK/Gold/Fastening
Compatibility:
With 0.78mm pins, SA 2-pin connector is compatible with a large number of IEMs from various brands, except for some special IEMS with unique plugs such as FitEar, JH24… SA 2- pin plugs are the best fit for your favorite IEMs from 64 Audio, Empire Ears. Vision Ears, Noble, Oriolus, AAW, Jomo…
Features:
The connector shell is made of Silver Anodized Aluminum, with Satin Audio logo printed on both side. The rings are engraved on the shell and colors are dripped into the gap (the white color for the left side and the red color for the right side). This way, the colors will not easily fade away like normal printing method. With these 2 colors – Red and white, your connectors look very elegant and premium.
Premium materials:
Pins of SA premium connectors are made of TeCu (Tellurium Copper) which helps to increase conductivity by 93%. Meanwhile, pins of other normal connectors are made of brass, with the conductivity of only 27%.
SA connectors also use PEEK (polyether ethyl ketone) insulation, which can endure ultra high temperature during soldering, helping the pins safely to be locked in the place. In order to stand the extreme thermal and electrical conductivity of the Tellurium Copper pins, PEEK insulation should be very essential.
SA fastening system of the connectors:
SA new generation connectors brings a totally new method of secure between the shell and the connectors. On the standard connectors, the shell are locked on the connectors with glue, which is not convenient to assemble. While SA new generation connectors are customized with shell fastening system. Here is what the shell fastening system works. Firstly, a pair of gaps make sure that the connecting part aligns with the logo. And then, the extension ring, lock and gaps allow you to easily push the shell until it clicks, which indicates that the shell has been permanently fastened on the connectors. So there is no need to use glue to secure them anymore.
SA new generation connectors also works better than threaded connectors. It is very simple to use and the pins easily aligns with the logo, which is very hard to work on threaded connectors. Also, it’s very likely to broken the weld when fastening too hard the threads.
Contact pins made from good materials
The pins are made from, which is as 93% conductive as pure copper. Whereas, for other materials such as brass, steel or bronze, the conductivity percentage is only 20-30%. So, it means that Satin Audio have chosen one of the best conductive material for making contact pins for audio connectors.
On the surface, these contact pins are plated with Gold. Gold is always a good plating material as it is very good conductive and oxidation resistant. The contact pins will be plated with reasonable amount of gold to ensure their long term endurance.
More space and easier to assemble. Inside the shell of SA new generation connectors, there is a little more space for various cables with different sizes to fit in. Besides, the pins are half- cut at the end, so it’s easier to weld the wires into the pins.
